In one sentence: Gino collects no student data. Students don't create accounts, sign in, or enter any personal information.
A teacher opens ginofocus.com on their own computer and plays it for the room, usually on a projector or speaker. Students listen and follow along. They don't need devices, logins, or accounts.
Settings like the chosen room and volume are saved in the browser on the device being used. They never leave that device, and clearing browser data removes them.
Gino uses Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to count things like which rooms are used most. It uses no cookies, doesn't track people across websites, and collects nothing that identifies anyone.
Gino is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic technical information such as IP addresses only to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
Gino is free for teachers and students. Schools never need to purchase anything or enter payment details.
